MINDEN BANDFEST PARADE INFO!

Date:  Saturday, October 19, 2024 

Uniforms:  FCS Marching Band t-shirt, nice jeans (no holes, rips, or tears), black socks, and black shoes.  

EAT – Please make sure to eat lunch BEFORE we go!  You can bring money along to get snacks at the concession stand at the end of the parade/awards.

SCHEDULE

11:15  – Be at the FCS parking lot in uniform.  Find the person you are riding with and put your instrument in their vehicle.

11:25 – Leave for Minden.

12:00 – Arrive in Minden for a quick bathroom break and check in.

12:30 – Lined up in parade order on the street.

1:00 – Parade starts.  We are the 3rd band in the parade.  When we’re done marching, we will put our instruments away in our vehicles and go back to watch the rest of the parade.

3:00 (approximate) – Awards at Minden High School field.  Band students enter free, but there is an entrance fee at the gate – $4 for adults and $2 for children.

3:30 – Leave for Kearney.

4:00 – Parents pick up students at FCS parking lot.

Parent Volunteers Needed!

Drivers/chaperones for the day to transport students from FCS to Minden and back.  We will have you sit with us to watch the parade and the awards ceremony.
